Shure SE530 PTH

se530
These are Shure’s top of the line in ear headphones and they have the sound to match that name. Truly amazing bass output which does not cloud the all important midrange detail. The SE 530 uses three drivers in each ear, two for bass and one for the top end. An amzing headphone for the serious audiophile!

"I know people who quietly weep when they blast classical music through these (SE530s)."
 - DL.TV, January 9, 2007

"You could easily tell differences in recording quality but the SE530s always allowed the music to come through intact in a completely enjoyable fashion. ...They are easily worth their rather steep price of admission."
- 6moons, September 2007

"And how do the SE530's sound, you ask? Let's just say that my ears were in heaven. The deep bass and high-end bleats of Photek thundered in my head, and for once, I couldn't detect any low-end distortion, even when I cranked the volume. When I crammed these babies (which come complete with a trio of "microspeakers" for each 'bud) into my ears... how shall I put this? Aural nirvana."
- Ben Patterson, Yahoo! Tech

"The Shure SE530 is, hands down, the best in-ear 'phone I've ever paired with a personal portable…the unamplified sound of the Shure was better than that of any other high-aspiration in-ear headphone I've heard to date."
- Wes Phillips, Stereophile Magazine

"These things are without a shadow of a doubt the finest pieces of audio technology ever to rattle my tympanic membrane"…."The audio quality is simply stunning, and even at the top of an MP3 player's volume knob, they don't distort. I can't even knock the things for being as expensive as they are: you want the best, you pays the most. And if these aren't the best, they're pretty bloody close to it."
- Al Bickham, PC Format

"The range is great, near perfect with very little drop off at the bass end of the equalizer."
- Max Slowik, TheTechLounge, January 7, 2007

"Dual drivers deliver incredible treble, clear mids, and size-belying bass. Great design makes putting them in your ear a cinch. One of the best noise-blockers we've ever tested."
- Editors, WIRED

Shure SE310

"I was impressed at how well the new SE310's reduced the external noise while delivering rich sound."
- Eric Benderoff, Chicago Tribune

"The SE310s sound great thanks to their terrific noise isolation feature, and feel good. ...the Shure SE310 Sound Isolating earphones are a terrific way to listen to your iPod. The reduction in ambient noise they provide, when combined with their clear sound, makes them a good choice for quality-conscious listeners.
– About.com Sam Costello, March 2, 2007

"This clarity and precision extend throughout all of the frequency band, from the deep bass to the midrange and high treble. They also seem very even-toned without any one frequency band standing out. I am very impressed with this pair of IEM's. I am impressed so much that they have become my main headphones."
-  Editors, Head-Fi

"The Shure SE310s are the best single-driver canalphones we have auditioned to date. While they lack a unique signature and sound slightly flat, overall performance was excellent. The design showcases the maturity of Shure’s place in the market, and the new ear sleeves are the most comfortable we have used. The build quality feels solid, the fit is great, and we have no reservations about recommending the SE310s to anyone in the canalphone market… presuming, that is, you can afford them."

"…we actually preferred the shape and feel of the less expensive SE210: it fit a little better in our ears, particularly when used with the new black foams, which provide superb external sound isolation so long as you’ve picked the proper size for your ears."
 – Jeremy Horwitz, iLounge, March 7, 2007

"A few months ago I fell in love. But I'm not about to get all soppy, for this was tech love and it was with a set of earphones. The object of my affections was a pair of Shure SE210. I'II bet both my little ears (and my SE210s) that they sound better than er sex".
- Tom Wiggins, Stuff

"Anyone simply looking to upgrade from the headphones bundled with their MP3 player will find that the SE210s completely revolutionize their listening experience"
